portfolio: total return on your investment

Hello,

"total return on investment" data do not seem to be accurate.
Exemples:
- bought symbol DIA on 4/12/2002 for 87.75; last price (19/12/2007) =
132.27. Not even taking into account dividends, total return should be 50,74%
instead of 16,1% mentioned in portfolio.
- symbol IFN bought on 4/12/2002 for 9.84; last price (19/12/2007) = 62.5.
Again, not even taking into account dividend payments, total return should
read 535% instead of 498% given on site
etc.
All returns (individual stocks and total portfolio) are inaccurate.
Do I not read properly or is there something wrong with the information
provided?

I assume you are talking about the Total Return All Dates column
(labeled "TR all" on the header) choice. I would expand the entry
to make sure that you have only the one Buy and no Sell present, or
else the other transactions are going to affect the calculation.

If you do have just the one Buy, edit to check that the price is
entered properly.

Thank you for your reply.
Yes it's the Total Return All Dates column. There is no "sell" operation
entered, only one buy. The price was entered properly. As mentioned, exemple
for DIA, buy was at 87.75 and last price of 132.27 should read TR all of
132.27% ( instead of, now, 16.1%).
