    - MSN Money Synchronization I've been unable to synchronize with MSN Money. I get the following error message: "Your update could not be completed because it took longer than the maximum time allowed. This may be because your update contains many transactions. Try updating when the Internet is less busy (early in the morning, or on weekends). If your update includes accounts you don't use any more, and you don't want to keep records of their old transactions, consider deleting the unused accounts from Money." Of note, I do have a large file (now running about 57Mb. I also have not been able to synchronize for about the last four months using Money 2004. Anyone else having similar problems?     - Matching DL Deposits with Invoice Payments I have setup Money 2004 Small Business to download transactions from my bank. This is working fine. Most of the deposits are payments received for invoices. When I download the deposit record from the bank, it does not match the transaction with the existing transaction that was created when I run the "Receive payment for invoice" task in the Accounts Receivable window. Furthermore, when I try to manually match the downloaded transactions, the deposits created manually do not appear. What is wrong here?     - 401k / Vesting / Company Matching Hello. I am looking for a way to track my employers vesting dollars in my 401k account. They match the usual 6%, and this company matching is vested over 3 years. My company buys their own stock with these matching dollars, and as my time in the company increases, I gain access to those dollars. I am 1+ year at the company, which means that I am now 34% vested in my employers matching account. How can you set up an investment in Money 2004 to show this? This is legit money that is included in my overall 401k balance, but I cannot figure out how to handle this in Money. Any ideas?     - Stock Symbol Limits on Money I have stock I will refer as ABC Co. and the symbol is (ABC) I have this stock in multiple portfolios. Example one in my 401K account and the same company stock with a separate broker account. MS Money only allows you to list a stock symbol once period.     - rate of return for options "N/A" I am using Money 2004 Deluxe. I sold some June call options months ago, the value of the call options have steadily dropped since then, which means profit in my favor, so Money has been correctly calculating the returns (annual, YTD, etc), up until Friday, when June options epxired. So on Friday, I entered a transaction for the call option to expire them, but now, under the returns, there is "N/A" displayed, so all the sudden Money can't calculate this anymore?     - Thanks, group! You fixed my Passport problem. After a system reinstall I was having the dreaded "sign-in unsuccessful" problem with Passport. A Google search turned up several suggestions, none of which worked until I found Dick Watson's post on Feb 7th which, among other things, suggested re-registering msxml3.dll (regsvr32 msxml3.dll). This fixed me! As to what may have screwed up the registration in the first place, I can only speculate that it may have had something to do with the fact that I installed Visual Studio.NET 2003.     - Transfers between accounts I am having a problem with transferring money between accounts at different banks, when I transfer money between accounts at my primary bank (BOA) the transaction shows up at the same time in each account, money in money out on the same day, however when I transfer to accounts at other institutions (or pay a credit card) there is a lag between the time the money leaves BOA and when it shows up somewhere else, usually about 1-3 days. This causes problems when I download statements from both places, if I mark the money leaving BOA as a transfer to the other account then the money is added to that account register immediately, then when I download the statement from the account that I am transferring to it shows up twice in the register... this can be a real hassle to track down and fix.     - Upgrading to Money 2004 from Money 2000 I downloaded the USA version of Money 2004 Deluxe tonight but when trying to convert from Money 2000 Deluxe I get an error on import stating "Money cannot open this file because it was created with an incompatible version."     - Budget Problems in money When I setup the budget amounts, they show incorrectly in the budget screen. If i put in $50 for cellular, it will say $100 in the budget screen. I've noticed a little annoying thing that happens when I click on a Money
2003 advisor. The "Review the Advisor FYI details" page will come up, but
when I click on any link I get a pop up window which will have a message
"The parameter is incorrect".

Is there anything I could do to repair these links?

If it makes a difference, my main hard drive is "F:"
