I can no longer access my bank accounts through money. The only alterations
I have done to the pc recently is to delete the "opera" browser. After using
Money 2004 for months perfectly okay I now cannot connect to my bank.
My internet connection is by NTL broadband and I can connect all others
okay.
Any idea's anyone, should I reinstall Money or what.

Money by default is using Internet Explorer to connect to financial
institution web sites. It could have been opossible that you changed it
to use your own browser. I do not understand your last statement. Are
you saying you can reach some financial institutions but not your bank?
or are you saying that your new choice of a web browser is working.

Re-installing would fix broken links, but if you changed your pointers
in the Tools/Options/Browser then you may want to verify that they are
pointed to what you want. Also verify that you can reach it using IE.
Several discussions have occured concerning deleting the temporary files
in IE.

Did you 'delete' or uninstall? One should never delete a program
(other than some residual data files).

Was Opera your default browser? There is a setting in Money options
re default browser. Choice is use Money or default browser.

There is also a problem with IE temporary files that requires they be
deleted via IE Properties (right click on IE desktop icon)..

Does the problem seem related to your removing Opera?

Btw, I'm using Mozilla and love it. Has fewer Java problems than
Opera. I gave up on Opera in disgust mostly due to their attitude.
They refused to post sites that they knew were problems and refused to
pay me for spending MY time debugging THEIR software. MS they ain't.
