money 2003

hey all

I restored from a backup - now when I try to enter a
transaction I get "this transaction cannot be entered"
has anyone else come across this! cheers

ok - I have looked around and have managed to solve this
issue - see 182608 MSKB - hope this helps someone else.

I was getting the same message in Money 2003. I wrote
to Microsoft Online Assisted Support. The answer I got
back said that that problem occurs when the Money was
somewhat corrupted. They suggested that I do the
following:
1.click Start->Run.
2.Enter "msmoney -s" and click OK.
3.Money will repair the Money file.

I did this and the problem seems to be resolved. You
might try this, but make sure you have a good backup first.
