See http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/common/networkstatus.aspx MS may
well be doing server work that affects logins.

Im not able to get into the file at all. its asking 4 a password that i never
created. i used windows live to update info in the money program and if i
knew i wasnt going to use the internet i would click the check box not to use
the internet and my windows live email address and password got me in. would
their server work effect a local login? thanks for responding!

You need to use LiveID if you want Money to get statements for
institutions shown as "third party" in
http://www.microsoft.com/money/bankonline.aspx

See if File->RepairMoneyFile->StandardFileRepair level 2 can make a
repaired version of your file.

If you were using the purchased version rather than the trial, I
would suggest you contact Microsoft Money support.
