Hi,

I am trying to create a report in Money 2004 to show how much I have
transferred between accounts (e.g. from checking to savings, 401K account )
Is it possible?

Yes.

One way (there may be others): Transactions by Category with categories
Clear All and the Include Transfers flag set.

That worked. But, I could not group by Month. I was only able to group by
Sub-Categories. When I select grouped by Month, I get a blank report, but
grouping by Sub-categories seems to give correct numbers if I select the
accounts carefully.

Any ideas on how I can group by Month?

Thanks.

Wow. I'd never played with that enough to see that behavior. (It appears
that the report treats Transfer as a category and the target as a
subcategory. This probably reflects some of the internal mechanics of the
database but seems to cause real problems in reports.) Fifteen minutes and I
don't see a workaround. You could move the report data to Excel and work on
it there.

Dick,

Thanks for your time. Even though, what I got is not exactly what I wanted,
I can probably live with that report. But it sure shows some
inconsistencies in the reporting.
