I am trialing money 2003; I've never had any package
prior to this.
I started out by entering the current valuation of my
investments but I'd like to see how each has performed
across the many years I've held them. (Some as many as 20
years).
I don't want to enter every transaction over the 20 years
but if I know the original shares & cost & purchase date
could I enter that instead of what I did enter and then
do an online update to get the current value ?
Would I then have enough information to see performance
or do I have to enter all additional purchases & the
price at that time and all dividends which were
reinvested to get a true picture?
What do people in my situation do?
