Cal, thanks for the reply but lets just forget about the debit card for a
minute...
As as I said this is also happening with cash withdrawal transactions. For
example; on 6/28/08 I stopped at my bank ATM (M&I Bank) and withdrew $120.
When I downloaded the transactions into the register for my bank account in
Money 2007 (retail version) ...it listed the transactions as DDA Withdrawal.
Then on 6/30/08 it again put in the same register transaction(same amount,
same time, etc.) but listed it is OTHER ATM Network DR Cash Withdrawal. Thus
giving me 2 register entries - for the exact same transaction! My register in
Money has numerous transactions like this, not just for the Visa card.
Once again, my actual statement with the bank is correct and does not show
these duplicate entries. It only occurs when I download the most recent
transactions from my bank and have them automatically put into Money, that
this occurs. I don't know how to correct this. I have noticed the ones that
start with DDA do not list the proper category.
