I just set up Money 06 and downloaded the last 30 days of banking
transactions and categorized them. Now I would like to go back and get the
last 12 months of transactions. How can I do that?

On mine , it's a matter of the bank...
On one I have to go to their website - display my account - for example:
select 'checking' - the default is 30 days, but down the bottom of that
page is a drop down to chnage the date range - to 'wahtever I like'
going back 18 months ( again your bank decided how much to have online).
I then have to do that for my charge card / savings etc.

If they give you no option to interact with the website, call them - the
contact info is in Money program - maybe they only do have 30 days on
history available online.

Bobb, Thanks for the reply. Where (what steps) in MS Money 06 do I need to do
to "select" the option to get the last 12 months or 3 months? I remember when
I first created the banking account that it offered me a drop down of times
that I could download transactions. I chose 1 month. Now I want to go back to
that same drop down and select a greater value but I can't find that screen.
All I see is the Update Now button when I am in the Checking/Banking area and
no drop down to select how far back to go for the transactions.

Andy,

That is a function of " YOUR bank". Rather than trying to get that via
Money, go to the BANK's website and log into your account. THERE you
should be able to decide how much data to fetch ( if they allow more
than 30 days). I find that Money will fetch "whatever it gets fed from
your bank". So if your bank only 'pushes' 30 days of data - that's all
you will receive in Money. If you want to try it ( what have you got
to lose) ... delete the account in Money, close Money. Create another
account in that Money file with same info and again connect to your
bank. Perhaps that will trigger the prompt from your bank
again.Otherwise, on your account info area for your bank, it will have
the contact info / phone number to reach a human. It might be that the
bank's software WAS set to prompt you " 30 days or 1 year ?" only once:
if you chose 30 days, it may need a manual reset from a human at your
bank to have it reprompt you.
