    - Cash Flow doesn't show up anymore Suddenly I can't get the cash flow work. I have tried everything suggested. Removed all bills, closed all accounts, repaired the money file, removed the budget and reset the debt plan. The cash flow still do not show up. It used to work until a few days ago. Any suggestions?     - Money 2004 UK - Login Fails Help please, I am in the UK and use Money 2004 with XP Home (service pack 2). After a number of years I am unable to login in using my Windows live ID passport. When I check in Money / File / Passport Manager I am advised that my passport sign in is enabled for my e-mail address. Also I can sign into other websites which require my Windows Live ID.     - Updating/keeping account names Don't know if I can explain this better, but when updating, how do I keep the same vendor/description name. For example, today, when updating, I had an ATM withdrawel of $50 listed.     - Debt Reduction Planner question For those of you with revolving credit cards in a DRP and the DRP managing the bills, does your cash flow forecast of an affected credit account show the estimated interest charges? Mine does not, resulting in a positive balance at the end of the payment series. I know that's wrong and the DRP is approximately right.     - Can Money track Futures? I have a Forex account setup as an investment account. Since Money (Deluxe v17) can't handle Forex, I just enter in a cash amount each week as an Invesetment loss/gain for Forex. The bad part is that I can't run reports against this account and so don't know the return on it. Instead of entering in a cash amount each week, should I just choose a random currency and enter it that way instead. This lets the investment side of the account have entries and show returns in a report. At least it seems it would. Will Futures have the same problems as Forex in Money?     - Money Plus Deluxe trial lie I installed the trial version of Money Plus to see if it would fix a calculation error in Money 2007. I read the website and it states you can choose not to uninstall the previous version, but you would lose change made in Money Plus. I am trying to start Money 2007 per the instructions and choosing to load a previously saved backup. It is telling me I cannot, and must install Money Plus. This is in direct contradiction to the following statements from the trial wbesite. "The first time you run Money Plus Deluxe Trial, your existing Money file will be upgraded and backed up. The backup file can be used with your earlier version of Money. To do so: Launch your older version of Money from the Start Menu. Click Open on the File menu, and browse to the backup file. " I will try to re-install, but beware if you try the free trial. You may have to go to Quicken.     - Money 2007 calculation error I am updating a 401(k) account with manula entry. All of my contributions are in, and I am updating the purchases. When I put the amount of shares as 5.4952 and the price as 4.14, Money returns a calculated value of .23. The correct value should be 22.75. I can adjust by moving either decimal 2 places, but that would be innaccurate. I even tried loading the trial version of Money Deluxe and the calculation error persists. I have two other 401(k) accounts that do not have this calculation error. Does anyone have any suggestions of how to fix this error?     - Loan principal amounts in income and expense reports Is there a way to get a loan principal transfer to appear as an expense in an income and expense report (similar to the loan interest expense)? Technically I suppose this is really a balance sheet transfer not an expense, but since my life operates on a cash not accrual basis, to me the interest + principal is effectively an expense.     - Re-invested dividends are duplicated In my sharebuilder account within MS Money, everytime I make a dividend and have it automatically re-invested, Money doesn't remove the value from the cash transactions. So Money reports the principal investment + DOUBLE the dividends. So, I end up with results like $1,008.44 instead of $1,004.22. Does anyone know what's going on? I remembered the Windows Secrets reg mod after I posted to the newsgroup. I removed the NoAutorun block and the install worked, but I had to reboot Vista X64 to get it to install Money.     - money 2001 I have been using Money 2001 successfully for 7 years. No problems. I buy a new computer with Visa Premium, and install 2001 on it. Again, no problems installing it or setting it up. After 2-3 mths with no problems, now all of a sudden I can't even access the program. Clicking on the icon or .exe just gives me a brief "thinking" cursor and then nothing.     - Cancel stock split In trying to use Cal Lerner's technique to record a Mutual Fund merger, I incorrectly entered the NAV exchange values for the split. I think I had them backward. MS money deluxe 2006 won't allow the edit undo function. Is there a way to cancel that split. Need to go from 1,842.56 shares @ $13.40/share to 1,545.075 shares @ $15.98/share.     - Matching Checks in M2007 I currently use Money 2007 Deluxe and have my transaction for my bank account downloaded into Money. When it finds a match for a check that I've written and I accept that match, it updates the date of the check to the date it was cashed as opposed to leaving it with the date I entered (the date the check was written).     - currency issue I am using Money Deluxe 2007. I have an issue regarding the currency of trades. For accounts in another currency other than the base currency, when I enter transaction into those accounts, a screen still pops up and asks me convert back to the base currency. Since the currency of trade in the account is not the base currency, there's absolute no need for such.     - Manually matching transactions Hi, I'm new to Money 2007 so maybe this is an easy question but I don't find an answer after searching help and recent posts. I have setup a checking account and a bill for Tuition. My transactions are automatically downloaded to my checking account. One of these transactions was my Tuition payment, but the bill still shows as being past due. Can't I simply mark that transaction as being a Tuition payment somehow? I'm sure I could record payment from the bill with the same info as that transaction has then delete the downloaded transaction that wasn't associated with the bill, but it seems like there should be an easier way.     - Tiaa-cref account issue with money First let me state that I have been evauluating both Quicken & Money. I much prefer money over quicken since money supports the qif file fomrat. I have several accounts in 2 banks that only support the qif file format so unless I want to buy a 3rd party program to convert these to ofq I am forced to manually enter the data. Anyways Money seems much more intuitive and also is cheaper. Now onto my issue, I have some accounts in tiaa-cref which I'm having trouble importing the information for. I was able to get all the accounts imported but the balance were zero. Anyone know of a way to import all the information into money from tiaa-cref?     - money link to excel I have been using moneylink add in for transferring stock prices from Money2001 to Excel 2000.     - Microsoft Money Plus Deluxe duplicating records in budget Hello, I'm using Microsoft money Plus Deluxe. I've put in my income and assigned it the category of 'Salary'. For some reason though, in the budget summary, it is showing income categories of 'salary' and 'uncategorized income'....my salary entry is showing up in BOTH of them, causing the budgeting tool to show twice the income that I actually have. I cannot figure out how to get this to work. i've removed and re-added the entry, re-done the categories, etc. Still no dice.     - Can MS Money manage Church Funds? I have recently taken the position of treasurer for my small community church. They software they are using is very poor. I would love to use Money, but I am struggling with how to handle "Funds". There are many Funds that people contribute to. Operating Fund, Building Fund, Benevolence Fund, etc. Each fund has a running balance with income and expense accounts. Each has it's own budgets. I have been using Money for about 12 years so I have not kept up with the new versions and options. I have searched the internet and this forum and have not gotten any hits on Church Funds!     - "Money's balance disagrees with statement balance" When I go to reconcile my credit union checking statement each of the last several months with my money account, the starting balance is not what I entered the previous month from my paper statement. When I change it to what the paper statement says, I get a warning. I ignore the warning, enter the statement ending balance, and the account always reconciles to 0 discrepancy. But then next month, the previous ending balance gets changed when I go to reconcile the new month and I again have to correct. This started a few months ago. Never had a problem before and I don't think I changed any settings to trigger the problem. I believe it did start before I upgraded from M05 to M+. .     - can I un-accept a transaction? Occasionally I accidentally accept a bank transaction. In simple cases this is only somewhat annoying because I have to manually re-enter split info into the accepted transaction then delete the transaction entered from my bills. However I have a case where I wanted to match the bank transaction to two bill transactions because I missed a payment.     - How to handle the Balance. Hello, I have a Money Plus Deluxe. I manage my checking and credit card accounts in it. As suggested by Cal and others, for credit card payment I used the special category and then matched the entries in credit card regsiter. But now my credit card register shows a surplus balacne ( in parantheses and red) and the adj balance in Account list does the same.     - Money 2k7 Home & Business: new account created every time I do upd My PayPal Providian Visa card was updated with a name change, and is now the "Washington Mutual Credit Card (formerly Providian)". Not a problem; after the name change, I updated the info, and was getting online updates. For the last couple of weeks, however, every time I do an online update, Money creates a NEW account (typically called "Washington Mutual Credit Card (formerly Credit" or Washington Mutual Credit Card (formerly Credit #2"), and I merge the duplicate accounts - only to have money do it AGAIN on the next update! !@#$%^&*()!!!! The worst part is that it erased all my inital data, such as opening date, interest rate, starting balance, etc. The transactions are still there, of course, so it's no big loss, but I like to keeo that info. WTF?!?!?! How can I stop this from happening?     - Money Plus Hangs after matching Transaction to Scheduled Bill I have WinXP and recently upgraded to Money Plus from Money 2005. When I 'accept' an electronically downloaded transaction that happens to match a scheduled bill, and I confirm the match, Money Plus just hangs on the hourglass. I'm able to click on the top-right close button, which quickly reports Money is not able to respond, an I have to kill the Money session. When I reopen the file, I can briefly see a nondescrit pop-up box with a horizontal progress bar (autorecover process?) and I'm able to work on my file again. The transaction is entered correctly and the bill is marked paid (i.e. shows listed for the next period in Bills). IMO, this is the slowest, buggiest version of Money yet.
