cannont connect to online services for financial institution setup

i am trying to set up online services for a new institution. i've had schwab
set up for years, and i am still able to update that account. however, when
i try to set up a NEW ameritrade account, when trying to do the initial setup
i receive an error message saying "money cannot complete a required online
call at this time. please check your internet connection settings and try
again." however, i can click internet updates or connect to schwab just
fine. i even tried setting up a new schwab account, since i know that works
on my existing account, and i get the same message. anyone know what's going
on? thanks!

You best bet would be to upgrade to 2005 (not 2006 or 2007, since those are
buggy from what I hear.) Amazon sells them for $5 to $10.

Be careful before you try to update to 2005. Read the Microsoft announcement
about 2003, 2004 and 2005 at:

Money 2002 depended on a Microsoft server to provided details to set
up a new online account. Microsoft stopped providing that server for
the older versions.
