I have an electric bill entered in my checking account. I have a budget
setup with a budget for electricity. My problem is when I go to the home
page I'm warned that I'm over my $0.00 budget for electricity. When I go to
my budget monthly report everything it okay. This happens for some other
catagories as well...is this a know issue and is there a fix or do I have
something setup wrong maybe?

Thanks,
Shawn

Check to make sure that, in the account details, you have selected to
include your accounts in the budget. I think that is what causes this
problem.

(I bought the deluxe upgrade)

I think I have everything setup correctly, most of the other data on the
monthly budget report seems correct. I had two old electric transactions
entered before I setup a recurring electric bill. I tried deleting the two
old electric payments and setup a recurring bill that started two months ago
and entered them for the dates they were really paid from the bills and
deposits page. After I did this, Money started setting the predicted
budgeted amount in the report to exactly 3 times the amount of the recurring
bill for the current month. It now is correctly setting the actual amount
spent in the current month (it is not zero). It is like Money is using dates
that transactions are entered and not when you say you paid the bill when
calculating its budget amounts for this category.

After all this, I deleted all the electric transactions and the recurring
bill and removed the original electricity category. Next, I created a new
category called "My Electric" and setup a new recurring bill that started
two months ago that goes to the new electric category. I entered the two old
transactions for the bills and deposits page. I added the new electric
category to my budget and every looked correct for the current month and the
previous two months. But, when I looked at the next month actual amount was
$0 and the predicted budgeted amount was double the amount of the recurring
bill. I don't understand what is going on?

Thanks,
Shawn

Did you ever find out what the problem was? I am running
into similar issues.
