product as compared to, say, Excel or a LINUX distribution.

Bonus answer to original post: Once upon a time lots of books existed. Most
of them ended up getting pulped. There was a "Money 2006 for Dummies". It
may or may not have been any good. You might try searching at
http://amazon.com.
