I'm transferring and backing up some data for a client and I'd like to be
able to copy the ms money data files for her without requiring her password.
Can you point me to a solid howto - which files are necessary, etc? The
backup feature isn't present until you log in.

Would simply copying the 'stuff' in application data be enough, or do I need
to capture some other things? I'd like to be able to import the
money-specific files and settings into her new winxp user account. I used
files and settings transfer wizard. I don't recall that it asked about ms
money settings as it did for outlook/oe.

If I have to call for her password, I will, but I'd rather not put her in
the position deciding whether to give me information to see her bank
accounts. :[

Thanks,

-JB

*.MNY files are Money data files. Most everything besides some preference
settings will be in the data files. Copy them wherever you need. Forget
worrying about backup.

If you need to reinstall the application, then there is no way to "copy
files" and achieve this end.
