I'm trying to connect with several financial institutions
via Money 2002, and each time Money runs to the web to get
information on accounts (regardless of institution), it
dies, and as an added bonus, severs my Internet connection.

I am using a cheap dialup, Surfbest. No LAN, etc. Should
be simple, straightforward, direct. The institutions in
question are listed as available to Money.

Recourse?

Well, the first thing to do is to set the setting at
Tools|Options|Connection|Internet Connection|Leave my Internet connection
open after downloading Internet information.

Then we need to clarify "it dies." Are we talking application error and its
gone? Are we talking 100% CPU/Not responding? What, exactly, does "it dies"
mean?
