I am using Money Plus.
I sell widgets at shows, stores and online.
When I sell them, they show up on my bank statements but how do I keep track
of them as Sales and also apply the Sales tax so that they automatically
register on my reports as Income and Tax categories?

I guess what I am saying is I would like to just have a category that I can
set these transactions to that will seperate them into the right parts of my
Profit loss, taxes,Income reports.

Yes, I am completely new to this :)

You need the small business version of Money.

When you sell something, you will create an invoice.

Money business lets you define your products, specifying whether they
are subject to sales tax. You also get to track customers. Each customer
has his own sales tax rate, so churches can be zero, and people in
different counties can have their own rates.

This will be mostly automatic when you do the invoicing.

Thanks Steve.
I'm betting this is more a case of my brain thinking the Software should
understand my thoughts before I know the full functionality and proper use of
Money.

Sorry. I'll post back if I still can't comprehend.
Thanks again.
