Hi,

I have been using an old version (pre Y2K) of Money for
years for doing my small business accounts and it has
been basic, but great. But I upgraded my pc so I bought
Money 2004 (standard).

Unfortunately now I have it out of the box I've found
that it is no good for my small business, as unlike the
old version I have been using, it doesnt calculate sales
tax for each transaction/category. I need this for my 2
monthly sales tax reports.

So, to save time downloading and installing each version,
can anyone tell me which version(s) allow sales tax
reports by category? Then (hopefully) they are available
in my country (New Zealand) - all I have been able to
find so far is 2004 standard. The Microsoft NZ website is
no help as its only showing Money 2002 standard as
available.

Thanks in advance.

Gay

Thanks, but I'm trying to find out which particular
version allows you to calculate / separate sales tax per
categories/transaction. Any MVP know?

And does any MVP know if any version other than Standard
is available in New Zealand cos I cant find it and the
MicrosoftNZ site seems to be in a time warp.

The only version in NZ will be the 'international version' which is standard
only.

I've got a International English version in a virtual PC. Can't see that you
can put sales taxes in on individual transactions, but am not sure whether
that is due to the country i selected on installation (can't remember what i
chose when I installed it).

True in Australia-I've been using M2000 with the VAT rate set to 10% (which
is the tax rate in AU).
