I am a Money 99 Spanish (Chilean) Version and I want to upgrade to any Money
99 US Version or later, because there isn´t any newer Spanish Version.
If I tried to read my Money file I get the following message: "Money cannot
open this file because it was created by an incompatible version"
After I have tried exporting and importing QIF file, but I loose many
account and register information, maybe because I have a large file with many
and differents account.
I red on the WEB that sometimes there is an exception for versions of
Microsoft Money before Money 2000"
Does someone know a trick, because I don´t want to loos my information

Money is heavily localized and you cannot switch between regions when
upgrading.

Sorry no. All that can read your Spanish Money file is another Spanish
version. But have a look at http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/28.aspx you
might want to try this, beware it can be very time consuming and may not
work.

Re: Upgrading form Money 99 Spanish version into any Money US Vers by Andres

Andres

I bought Quicken 2.001 US Version and I downloaded a Converter from Quicken
Intuit Forum. With this Quicken Version I could read and convert my Money
file. After I installed Money 2.001 US version and I imported the Quicken
file created with Quicekn into Money 2.004 US Version, getting a full
converesion.
The problem is that Quicken 2.001 does not acceppts amount bigger than
9.999.999,99, so I loose in the convertion all the transaction bigger than
9.999.999,99. But If you don´t have transaccion bigger than 9.999.999,99 you
get 100% convertion. I´ll try to do the same with later version off Quicken,
but they didn´t read my Money File.

Do you Know if any Money Spanish Version will read my Money 99 Spanish
Version made for Chile Country, or must be from the same country and lenguage

Andres
