I put in a stock and later deleted it. Now I go back and
try to reinput same stock with the same symbol, (FASMX),
and it keeps stating that that symbol is in use. I
apparently missed something I was supposed to delete and
didn't, can you advise?

Incidentally I had another stock with a CE symbol and
when I went to input another purchase in on the same day
it also gave me a cannot use because the symbol is already
in use!!!

MicroSoft Money V.8.0

Thanks

Stan

Use the same stock. I may be wrong about V8.0, but I believe that when you
delete a stock, you only delete it from the Investment list. So you can still
use it.

After reading this paragraph, I would guess that you are inputting your
purchases incorrectly. You purchase stocks within an account. There is no
need to set up a stock more than once, no matter how many times you purchase
it, or in how many accounts you purchase it.

Reread HELP for the process.

If that doesn't clear things up, post back with the exact steps you are taking
to try to "input another purchase".
