I don't believe it is possible to find out the locale that a file was
created in from the money file details itself, so trial and error may be
your best bet here (along with finding out if the regional settings are
stored anywhere on disk so you can get them off the other disk). Might also
be worth just trying to open the Money file on another machine too.
If you're using the French version, you could try to open the file with the
French version of 2005. (there's no trial currently available from MS, but
it can be found online somewhere i think), as that may allow you to get the
data out. Ultrasoft Moneylink may also work to allow you to get the data out
also.
