First of all, "Credit Card Payments/Transfer" category is Evil, assuming you
are not using Essential Register, and should be deleted with prejudice. See
http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=167. If you are using Essential Register,
you might also get the input that it is Evil as well.

Second of all, how are you "categorizing" your TRANSFERS of money to the
credit card accounts? Transfer:[name of credit card account] is very good.
Credit Card Payment::[name of credit card account] is good. Bill:Credit Card
is less good.

I m using "Credit Card Payment::[Credit Card Name]" special category.

Can you please also tell me why Transfer: CC category is 'very good' and CC
payment is just 'good' and Bill: Credit Cards is 'less good' ?

Actually, in my checking account I categorize my CC payments as "Credit Card
Payments: Name of CC" special category.

To answer questions in order:

Transfer: is normative and always useful. This is very good. Credit Card
Payment: is just like transfer in almost all ways, but is only meaningful
for Transfers to credit card accounts. Since it's essentially just like
Transfer but Transfer is universal, why not use Transfer and be done with
it? Thus, Credit Card Payment: is only good. Bills:Credit Cards is just
another expense category. It precludes making the credit card expenses
separately track-able. This is less good or even bad, depending on what your
goal of using Money is. If you want to track spending at a granular level,
it's bad.

Back to your problem.

If you customize an Income and Expense report to include Transfers, you
should be able to see them. I'd give you precise click paths, but I'm not at
a machine that has any version installed. But you can get there with and of
several customized reports.

I tried to customize Income/Expense report but i don't think I can be able to
see CC Bill Payments (in total) on that report.

I just like see how much do I spend on my credit cards every month? This
could be summation of all the transaction under all credit account or any
selected credit card account(s).

Thanks

I go into Monthly Income and Expenses. I customize it for Rows &
Columns|Transfers|Include transfers to or from accounts not in this report.
I set it to Account|[just my checking account] and Category|Clear all. I get
what I think you are looking for. There are ways to get the same type of
information with many other reports as well. E.g., customize an account
transactions report by Payee and/or Account.
