I was operating MSmy 2000 when computer hard drive crashed
over a period of time. My backup files are therefore
corrupted. I reinstalled MSmy 2000 on new computer, it's
OK. However after loading back-up files to capture past
data there are some areas in the financial records where
corrections can not be made due such as the "trinity" of
corruption results in "this transaction cannot be
entered". Can this situation be corrected? I've been
through Q104 but didn't see where corrupted backup files
were addressed

Q104 applies to you. Once you are in Money, you are in the data file---not
the backup. Backups cannot directly be repaired. The best you can do is
follow the steps in the FAQ.
