Hey there. I was wondering if it is at all possible to restore data from my
.NET passport account. The file was associated with a Money 2005 data file I
had created (but evidently did not back up) before I reformatted my hard
drive. This file contains all of my company's financial data for the past
four years. I would hate to have lost it. Please tell me this IS possible.

Still hopeful,
Summarah

I don't know how much you are going to get, but I know how to find
out.

Install the deluxe Portfolio on the moneycentral.msn.com/. View your
portfolio. Just in case, More->FileOptions->Backup and choose a
unique name for the backup file. While that extra backup will
probably not be needed, I think it is a good idea.

If you have Money 2005 installed and the version is 14.0.*.1105, I
would create a new file with the same passport on it. If you don't
have version 14.0.*.1105 yet, I would first create a new file with
no Passport. Let Money update. Then I would create a different new
file with the same Passport on it that I used with MoneyCentral/MSN
Money.

Let us know how that works.

I did install the MSN Money Portfolio Toolbox Manager (I don't remember if
that's the exact name of it), and it did have my accounts listed, but no
transactions. Oh well. Thanks for your help.
