Restore from backup

While attempting to restore a file from a backup (Money 03 on Win2k SP4) when
selecting to "restore from a different backup file" the MS error report
window will appear and eventually shut down & restart Money (even with the
check box unchecked). What is the cause & how do I correct?

I don't know what would cause it.

Close Money, and use Windows Explorer to open the backup you want to
use. That should launch Money, and start restoring the file you
want.
