    - Money 2001 Deluxe file compatibility with Money 2006? I have been using MS Money 2001 Deluxe for over 5 years on my Windows ME computer and have built up a considerable history of money data. I just ordered a new computer with Windows XP Professional and would like to run MS Money 2006 Small Business edition on the new PC and retain the history I've built. If I purchase MS Money 2006 Small Business edition for my new computer, will my MS Money 2001 files be readable/importable on the 2006 version?     - Add Shares - HELP! I downloaded my stock trading information directly from Penson Financial Services. When I imported the data into Money the program decided that it needed to "ADD SHARES" to makes sure that I wouldn't have a negative balance of shares in my account. But the program didn't do it correctly, giving me many more ADD SHARES than I need. When I go through and reconcile the register with the Excel Spreadsheet that I also created with the data, I find that I'll have three or more ADD SHARES when the account would zero out without them. When I try to delete the additional ADD SHARES from the register, I'm told that the shares cannot be deleted because it will cause my share count to fall below zero. THAT'S JUST NOT TRUE! The positions reconcile perfectly with my spreadsheet. The spreadsheet shows that the shares match and zero out. Why can't I delete those extra lines of ADD SHARES? Tag: Print current month.     - 401K Contibutions & actual balance I see a lot of 401k questions posted but none that seem to help me, so I apologize in advance if this has already been answered. I have my paychecks transferring my 401k Contribution & company match to my 401k Investment account. My balance only shows those totals. Each paycheck some stock & shares of other funds are automatically purchased, publicly traded and not. My problem is I can't get electronic downloads of the transactions and their market value. How should I handle those investment transactions? If I just add them & update them my total will be doubled (Plus Market Change) because of my paycheck contributions.     - go back to report always at bottom When I am looking at a transaction report in money and leave it for some reason, when I go back, it always goes to the bottom of the report. Let's say, I right click on a transaction and choose to go to that transaction. It will take me to that transaction in the register. If I then click on the left arrow (or press <alt><left arrow> or click on the <back> button on my mouse), the report will reappear, but it will not be displaying the transaction I just left. It displays the final "page" of the report, not the front of the report, which includes the transaction. I find this irritating. It is not the same behavior you get when jumping between accounts on either side of a transfer. So, is there a work-around (like a setting) better than scrolling to the top each time? I would just be happy if the program would download the updates from my institutions on a consistent basis. I do not understand how all my financial institutions have a problem at the same time. I might be able to get updates to my checking account if I try the update button five or six times. Another problem with Microsoft's program is how MoneyCentral has to download the information first then pass it along to me. Is this really necessary? None of the accounts (credit cards, etc.) update. Three successive message boxes appear - the first two only for a second. 1. Updating account information 2. Processing Service Updates 3. Update not complete. Then the update results show an error message for each account: "Microsoft Money could not update your account. Please try to update your account again."     - budget not tracking a category correctly I've set up a category and set up the budget to track it. But for some reason, the "thermometer" at the bottom of the check register is only keeping track of certain debits from that category. For instance, for this month, it says I've spent $350 of my allocated $600 in that category, but in reality, I've spent over $400. When I double click the thermometer to see the itemized debits, some are missing. But when I go back to the check register to see if I've categorized them correctly, I have. We both set up checking accounts, one checking account for my wife and another checking account for myself. We both use our bank for automatic Bill Payments (Pay Bill) and have run into a problem when the banks transactions are downloaded into Money 2004. My wife created automatic Bill Payments for companies that she makes reoccurring payments to and I created automatic Bill Payments for companies that I make monthly payments to. The bank assigned numeric numbers for Payees (i.e. the first Payee #1, the second Payee #2,â?¦) for each company that my wife created an automatic Bill Payment for and did the same for each payee that I created an automatic Bill Payments for. The problem is that my wife''s Payees are different than my Payees and the bank makes automatic payments to these Payees but when the data is downloaded into Money 2004, the Payees become interchanged. When I download the bank transactions to Microsoft Money 2004, Money does not differentiate my payees from my wifeâ??s payees so when I try and reconcile my account, it includes some of the names of my wifeâ??s payees and when my wife reconciles her account, some of my payees appear in her checking account. I have looked at (opened) the Money OFX.DLL file but was unable to make sense of the contents of this file and guess that this is a mapping / algorithm problem?     - No Unread Statements, but Statements to read? Hi, After I download my statements from Fidelity and another similar institution, I get a page with the results of the download. At the top is a caption which tells me how many unread statements I have. There is a column to the left labeled Unread which may have an arrow pointing to one or more statements. Sometimes, even though the page caption says their are no unread statements, there are arrows in the Unread column to one or more accounts, and occasionally, there are in fact transactions when I review the individual account. last 3 months. plus some more options. I want to know how my credit card is
spending for the lat 30 days. Is there a way to print a report for the last
30 days or even better yet print a report on just my credit card and the
catagories that I am spending the money in?

Pick a report and click Customize. Use the date tab, as well as the
Account tab. You may also have DateRange drop-down below the report.

Then print the report.
