Just the initial purchase, the average should be the share price plus the
commissions divided by the no. of shares. Which to my mind means that the avg
cost should remain the same until such time as another transaction is made.
Mark (refer other reply to this thread) thought it may be due to exchange
rate changes.
The base currency is New Zealand dollars (NZ$) , how ever the exchange rate
fluctuates daily and there has only been the one change. If money works as
the layout seems to suggest, then all the the calculations are done in the
market currency (US$) and converted as a separate set of totals. Then again
who ever heard of MS writing intuitive software :-)
