I just upgraded to 2005 and I am not impressed so far. For some reason
downloaded transactions cannot be marked as "Payment for Invoice", you have
to create a new transaction to get it to popup the wizard to allocate to
various invoices.

My most pressing issue is that when I run a report, everything I marked as
"Payment for Invoice" isn't showing up as income. Does anyone know a work
around?! Money team please address these bugs pronto, how did test sign off
on this release?

Thanks.

This may not answer the question, but I'm looking for the opposite
solution -- getting rid of Payment for Invoice! All I know is payment for
invoice is under a special category. It's not marked as personal or business
income, so I'm not surprised it does not show up in a report -- can you
customize the report??

Payments mess everything up for me, because it duplicates every downloaded
entry into my business checking account and there's no way to associate an
invoice with a bank deposit. You have to make it a separate transaction. I
mean, how many people use a separate deposit slip for each check they
deposit?

I managed to figure out how to get to it show under income in the reports. I
had to go back and make sure the service I had created that I was billing
against on my invoice was marked as income. This was a change from previous
versions although I can see why it needs to be. I'm surprised that it
wouldn't be automatically.

Still not sure why downloaded deposits can't be marked as payment for
invoice though.

Downloaded payments that cannot be marked as payment for invoice are a hug
dissatisfier with me, I hope they get it fixed soon.

You cannot match invoice payments to downloaded transactions in Money
View products that this article applies to.

SYMPTOMS
You cannot match download transactions to invoice payments in any one of the
products that is listed in the "Applies To" section of this article.

CAUSE

configure Money to manually accept downloaded transactions. To do this,

Is this a real KB article or was it made up? It looks like a joke... this
causes more problems than it resolves.
