I copied my money file to a cd during a backup (my
computer was going in for service) Now when I try to open
the file it tells me that the password is invalid.

And you a ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY, sure that the version of Money you are
using to open the backup is the same or newer than the version you were
using before?
