When updating the current value of a call option the
change field remains zero and the portfolio change amount
is unaffected.

Does the symbol have a leading period such as .MSQGF ? If so, what
is the symbol you are using? I assume you are referring to
downloaded prices rather than manually entered prices.

Be advised that Money does not let you change the symbol on a listed
option. :-( You can work around that by defining the listed option
as a stock. Then you have to deal with expiration as a $0 sell etc.

Also, the symbol your broker uses will differ from what Money uses.

Money uses.

The symbol used is the standard five character symbol as
entered in the trade. For example a call on CMOS $12.50
Jan 04 is CQSAV

Some services require appending a .X or .O but I just
entered the symbol without and suffix.

So for Money to download the quotes, the symbol would have to be
entered as .CQSAV. If you attempt to change it, you will probably
find you cannot. Bug. You could define an option with a different
NAME and symbol. Modify the transactions to use the new name.
