I've been using Netbank and Money 2003 together for a
couple of years, and Money was dutifully downloading
Netbank statements just fine until I upgraded to Money
2005. I keep getting a message saying that my sign-in
information doesn't match the bank's records. However, I
can use the same credentials on Netbank's site just
fine.

I understand that MS says some banks have 2 sets of
credentials: 1 for their web site, and one for services
such as the Money download/synchronization. But my past
success with Netbank (using only one user name / pw
combination) leads me to believe that's not ethe issue
here.

Is anybody else experiencing this, and do you have a
workaround? I'm using the Deluxe edition trial before
buying.

Have you contacted your bank? I'm seeing the same issue (with a different
bank) and am waiting to hear from them.

Netbank changed over to a new system. Call them up and ask them if they
upgraded you yet.

Go to your netbank account in Money 2005 then update the
online services and refind the bank. After the upgrade at
NetBank to the new system they renamed the old netbank
listing in money to zzzNetBank, go find the new one then
update online services. This should get you going again.

Netbank synchronization fails in 2005 by Greg

Greg

I am having an issue with Netbank as well. It was a
problem that was there last week when I first
installed '05, but then after talking with tech support
they told me it was a server problem on their end, and to
give them through the weekend to fix the problem.
Everything started working great on last Friday.

Now on Tuesday, I can't sync up everytime. I get an error
about 80 percent of the time.

In 2005, MSFT is using Yodlee to connect to your bank. In
previous versions Money connected to your bank directly.

The problem seems to be with yodlee. I haven't been able
to check since I'm at work to see if the problem has been
resolved today yet.

Hope this info helps.

Hmmn, I find that Netbank works with the new credentials, but
zzzNetbank doesn't. For me, zzzNetbank only works with the old
credentials. You want to use the new credentials because the new
platform has more features (bill pay from directly within Microsoft
Money for instance). In any case, I had to call Money tech support to
get everything going.

NetBank changed their web site and required a new login ID/password. (It's
actually an improvement because you can specify your ID.) The multiple
versions of NetBank in the money list of banks is related to that. One uses
the old system, the other, the new one. Contact the bank to determine which
you're supposed to be using. After that, I think you'll be fine.

I bought Money 2005 last week and set up my account with Netbank just
fine. I'm using the new user name / password combination and things
worked great. As of yesterday though, I can't get my statements to
download anymore. Maybe there's are just some issues at the moment. I'll
give them another day before contacting them. It was working great, but
now I get an error every time. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

I've had the same problem. It worked, then it stopped working. What
I ended up doing was, I stopped using online services for Netbank, I
stopped using Passport, then I set up online services again. Since
then things have worked fine. No background banking, but it updates
just fine when I click on Update Now. Yodlee has a lot of problems as
you can see from reading the threads and without a passport, Money
doens't do anything with Yodlee. I'm not saying that Yodlee is the
problem, (Netbank's services are direct) but the problems have stopped
so far since I stopped using Passport and Yodlee for other accounts.
