That would not be a good way. If you and your Wife each had a file,
then switching would be easier with the most-recently-used list at
the bottom of the File menu. There is no problem having your and
your wife's holdings in the same file.
AccountList->AddANewAccount to make a new account. Make it an
Investment account. Make it a Watch account if you are tracking
investments that you do not yet own. Do not make it a Watch account
if you are tracking actual holdings in that account.
On the Portfolio list, the GroupBy drop-down list lets you group by
Account (separates them) or Position (everything together).
ChangePortfolioView->ShowWatchAccounts controls whether Watch
accounts are shown.
ChangePortfolioView->ShowClosedPostions ....
