Ok, I now see the "Expenses over budgeted limits" section
on the budget review screen.
However, this still only shows categories for which I
have budgeted. If I made a 50,000 expense to a category
that isn't in my budget, I can see no place where this
shows up as a red flag. The budget review screen and the
Monthly/Annual budget report ONLY show budgeted
categories.
With Quicken I can select an option to show ALL
categories that have nonzero budgeted/actual amounts,
which lets me see which categories have enough spending
in them to be added to the budget. Is there any way to
get this information in Money?
I'm using Money 2004 Deluxe...
