    - Iimport 2004 files into Money Plus or Money 2003 I have uninstalled MS Money 2004, the program, not the files by mistake, and can't find my copy of the OEM version that came with the HP PC. All the backups are still on the HD. I have a Works Suite 2003 full set. I also have a new copy of Money Plus. Can I install either one of these and recover my backups.     - Money Online Services suddenly stopped working...???? I've got Bank of America. When I first opened those accounts I was using Money 2007 and I configured the online services within Money for my BoA accounts. I was very pleased with the fact that I simply used the same login credentials as I used when logging into BoA's web site to setup the accounts inside of Money. After this was done I was able to click the "Update" button inside Money and it downloaded my transactions into the account registers just as expected. Then, not long ago, Money had some kind of update that involved re-creating your online services accounts and then merging them. I did so, following the same procedures as the first time, then merged, and I was all back to normal. Everything worked great ever since that update until just a few days ago. A few days ago I started getting errors when trying to download updates into Money. I shrugged it off cuz that does happen sometimes, but after 3 or 4 straight days of this I actually looked at the error message which stated that a change had been made with Bank of America and I had to re-configure my online services. Well now when I try do it Money will not accept the login credentials that I use to login to my online banking. I called BoA who say that I've never been signed up to use the Money/Quicken features and that they cost $9.95/mo! I never paid a penny for this feature and it always worked beautifully simply by putting in the same login credentials into Money as I do on the site. Now I can't. The BoA guy was confused because I never signed up for this feature with them but I used it for months. I'm thinking it must be something to do with the fact that it was using MSN servers to download those transactions from...??? I know that PayPal used to work and now doesn't...is this the same with BoA??? If so, why does this keep happening?? Why does MS keep giving us features for a little while and then take them away. Having PayPal connected to Money was great! Then it was gone. Having BoA connected for free was great, now BoA says I need to pay them (and say I always should have been).     - Got wierd share quantities? - More Bogus Split Data This seems to have been an issue since about August. For some reason the Quote Provider for Money is downloading phantom stock splits. Here are the latet I've found. Morgan Stanley MS 119 for 100 7/2/2007 Verizon VZ 104 for 100 11/20/2006 Altria MO 132 for 100 4/2/2007 NCR NCR 209 for 100 10/1/2007 ADP ADP 111 for 100 4/2/2007 The "fix" is to replace the bogus split with a 1 for 1 split on the same date by entering a manual share split.     - Money 2007 - How to Control updates I want to control when Money 2007 downloads and implements program updates rather than allow Money to do it anytime it wants to. I have been burned in the past when M2004 downloaded some flawed updates an a very inopportune time.     - Annual budget report missing budgeted amounts for categories with scheduled bills - fixed in 2008? Some time ago Ian Lee had posted a message titled "Marking bills paid". He had very insightfully found that using skip in the scheduled bills and deposits function makes money skip the budgeted amount for the month also! This bad bug causes budget reports for the month to show no money as being budgeted for the categories contained within that bill.     - Stored account passwords I have had an account password and pin stored for Nationwide for automatic downloading of my statements for many years. I have just noticed that the password and pin have been removed from my money file. I have tried to store this again, but when I try to signon to Nationwide as part of the change process it does not manage to sign me on.     - Money 2007 Premium deleted transactions Okay, just installed it, and actually got the thing to download transactions from my credit union.. funny thing is it only went back 1 month, would be nice to know how to get it to download everything.there is to get. So I decided I would manually enter transactions to cover back to the beginning of the last month, then I could just do the archive download of previous months and I'd be set. So I entered about 25 transactions and it put them in the Adjustments Section. Right at the top it said, once it was cleared, click the check-off box and click Delete Cleared Adjustments to remove it from the list. Did that and it just deleted them. It didn't add them to the Cleared Transactions List. It just deleted them. Hmm. So how the heck do I get it to work right and just add them to the Cleared Transactions. Really worrisome that it would just delete them all with no warning message or anything. I have looked and can't find them anywhere I might have missed, they're just gone. Anyone run into this?     - Merging Accounts Twice Can the geniuses at Microsoft explain to me how I can set up a single account for online services with my bank AND MSN BillPay? Although the account merging requirement is the one of he most moronic pieces of crap the idiots as Microsoft have dumped out in a while, in theory I can merge a newly created online account with an existing non-online account and have been able to do so mostly by giving it my right arm. But when I also want to use billpay with this account, billpay creates yet another online account - and now my original acocunt is also an online account - so I cannot merge billpay with this.     - Account Registry Multi-Select Is there a way to select multiple lines in the account registry? I frequently have items marked as "cleared" but like to uncheck them all before I do a reconcile on the account because I don't want money to auto-reconcile all the items I've marked as cleared.     - Two Questions Regarding Bills - Using Money Plus Deluxe 2008 In Money 2006, if you have a recurring deposit every two weeks set in the "Bills Summary" it would show both occurrences for the month.     - Money Report Problem I am using Money Plus H&B and I am having trouble with a few of my reports. The report seems to be fine if I calculate my Profit and loss for the year to date but if I change the date to include the entire year or even a month later than today I have a problem. Sometimes I get a message that Money has encountered a problem and I check Okay other times Money just exits on its own. I seem to be able to run the same report for 1/1/07 to until about 11/20/07 without errors. This same situation occurs with 2 different reports which are for 2 totally different businesses. I even get the error message when I run it run the report menu rather than from saved favorites. I have done the repairs and also uninstalled Money and reinstalled.     - Bugs in MS Money Plus (premium)? Hello, I just (regrettably for the second time) upgraded MS Money, from MS Money 2007 to the current version. Though I cannot tell what the difference is (no visible difference in features), I thought perhaps this version would be at least 'less buggy'. However, from the start (login) I have seen numerous bugs. Does anyone have a list of known issues? Three that I encountered immediately: 1) logging in, I get an error message that my password is incorrect (even though it is), and upon second try it lets me in. 2) when clicking on the 'budget' icon in the toolbar, I get the budget report rather than budget 3) when trying to share my file (sharing settings), it just hangs with those little arrows spinning, no response.     - Problem online updating my bank accounts in MS Money 2007 My MS Money 2005's online service was expired recently. At the same time I got a new computer, so I installed MS Money 2007(Not Plus) in it. I was able to restore my Money 05(backup file) data to Money 07 without any problem. The problem now is all my banks/credit cards/investments don't update in this new version. I checked all my account status in the "network status" page and all of them return an error of "0", which mean everything is normal. If I log into Moneycentral, I was able to update those account individually with no problem. Is it b/c the online service still think I am using Money 05(from the backup file)?     - No $ amounts, only #### I have got a serious problem with Money 2007. There are so many places that just has #### instead of the actual $ in the Amount column using Reports. For example. Reports, Income & Spending. All the $ Amounts are there when the report opens. There is an Income-Unassigned $300.00. If I double-click that to see what it is, in the View Transactions: Income window it lists all my paychecks with $0.00 for the amount. There is one that has #### for the amount. If I double-click the one with ####, it has $300.00 in the Edit Transaction Window. While I am typing this, I just clicked the Income -Unassigned $300.00 again, and the View Transactions: Income, and now *all* the entries show #### for the amount, not even the $0.00 is there any more. When I click Create A Report, all the money amounts show. In the Income & Spending Report, when I click the Investment Income , the View Transactions: Investment Income window opens, some amounts were $0.00, the rest were ####. After I closed it and just now tried that one again, ALL of the amounts are ####. When I click Create a Report in the View Transactions: Investment Income window, all the money amounts show in this Report. This occurs with every item in the Income & Spending report. Another example, In Assets and Liabilities, Account balances with details. When that report opens, if I double click any item listed under Account or Bank Name, all the Amount has is ####. Then if I click Create a Report from there, all the money amounts show. There are other places this happens too but donâ??t recall off the top of my head right now. The amount column has four # signs, (####) instead of the actual money amounts. Oh I remember, it is in Monthly Reports. In the first section Income v. Expenses. When I double-click the figure in Total Expenses, for either of the two months, prior month or current month, those amounts are ####. I have to double-click *each* individual entry in the Edit Transaction window to see the amount. In the Edit Transaction window, if I Create A Report, the $ amounts show correctly. Any item in the Monthly Reports that can be double-clicked, all have #### instead of the actual $ amount. What is wrong with this thing? A few months ago I tried a Quick File Repair, but it did not fix this. I just tried Quick File Repair again, and it did not fix it. Please, can someone help me with this? Its been doing this ever since I upgraded from Money2004. I *Never* had problems with that version. I hope I was clear enough to describe this problem. Thank you.     - How to get Bills and Budget to synch? I have Money '07 and I'm using it to try to set up a budget. Problem is, it's a little cumbersome to have to go in and retype each category and amount for things such as rent, gas, cell phone charges, etc. when all of that information is currently in the Bills section. Is there a way to get the budget to grab all of those non-variable values and use them so the only thing I have to manually budget is what's left over? Also, it doesn't seem like the cash flow forecaster (not sure if that's what it's called) is considering my budget items - only the items under "Bills". The only way they update is by me selecting "update now".     - ATM Inquiry Transactions I'm using the current version of Money Plus. When downloading electronic transactions from my bank, I receive a lot of ATM Inquiry transactions that are $0.     - Money Plus with Vista I am a Quicken 2007 user. I have a new computer with Vista. Quicken and Vista do not play well together, therefore, I am inquiring about Vista and Money Plus.     - Dates changing in MPP? When I enter my receipts I obviously use the transaction date for the date of the sale. However, I just noticed that a lot of my dates have changed by a few days when I compared against the Visa statement. Is there an issue where MPP changes the date?     - Online services setup Hi I have Money Plus Deluxe (2007 I think), which I just purchased. I have setup online download of my bank (Bank of AMerica - CA) information and that works great. I have since signed up for online bill pay thru Money at Bank of America and I am trying to update my online services to reflect that. However, it does not let me do that.     - Money Plus - Transaction cannot be entered I recently converted from Money 2005 to Money Plus (2008). The conversion went fine and everything was working as expected, for a while. All of a sudden I started to get the dreaded "This transaction cannot be entered" message. I did a Level 2 repair, but I still get the messages every so often. The weird part I discovered is that if I just click "Okay" and then hit "Enter", the transaction goes into the register. I don't have to re-type anything, I don't have to start a new transaction, I don't have to do any kind of repair. Any thoughts as to what is going on? Suggestions for what I should try? or Money Deluxe? I'm wondering if it's worth the money to upgrade.

Essentials is a toy version for people who have never used Money before. It
won't upgrade a data file from "Money Beyond The Essentials".

So, is there a benefit worth the upgrade going from M06 to M+ Deluxe? The
only major one is the Money Insight background tool in M+. There is also the
"nuke the bills" repair tool in M07 and the extension of online services.
Pretty thin gruel.
