    - "Downloaded:" panel on left... I currently update my downloads from bank accts cc accounts etc, but I have one bank account that has continually shown that it's last download was Oct 12, 2003 and shows a particular balance. While the account seems to work everywhere else in money, why can't I "update" this information panel? It's annoying. I think this has even carried on since having Money 2000 and updating to 2003, the problem carried over, so I'm guessing it's a corrupt file SOMEwhere maybe in the registry?? Anyone have a clue?     - MS Money04 Problem I am having a problem with Money 2004. Power went out when I was using. Once brought back up, attempted to get into Money and gave me the typical XP message "Microsoft Money has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." When you look at message it shows: AppName: msmoney.exe AppVer: 12.0.0.613 ModName: mspfctl0.dll ModVer: 12.0.0.613 Offset: 00018412 I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall, but I get as far as restoring my backup.     - Relationship between Categories and Budgets? Can anyone explain the exact relationship between what you set up as categories and the budget amounts? It seems they are not connected and that the budget categories do not match the categories. You can change Budget Groups but not Category Groups.     - ms money 2004 I can no longer access my bank accounts through money. The only alterations I have done to the pc recently is to delete the "opera" browser. After using Money 2004 for months perfectly okay I now cannot connect to my bank. My internet connection is by NTL broadband and I can connect all others okay.     - Money/IE 6 Problem Long story... I tried to install a DSL "Help Center" from Bellsouth and lost the ability to open Money because of an issue with Internet Explorer v6. The error message states "Money requires some components of internet explorer 6 to function properly. Please reinstall internet explorer 6 so these components can be added." I have reinstalled IE6 from the Microsoft Website and the MS Money Installation Disk with no success.     - Updating stock quotes on line I have Money 2003 which was installed on my computer when I bought it. Up until today I have been able obtain stock quotes for my portfolio using the on line feature built into the Money program. For the past 3 days, when I tried to update the stock prices online, a message comes up saying the update was completed ok, but there would be no price change in the stocks.     - daily restore required I've just started using Money 2004, and when I have it up and running, it all appears fine. But once a day, I try to open it and it gives me an error message telling me that a component is missing, and to reinstall. I did that the first time, and what a mess.     - Credit Card Balance showing up as income I've "fixed" this 2-3 times, but MONEY 2004 continues to send me back with the same problem. There appears to be a bug with my software as my Credit Card shows my charges as income and my credits as expenses. I downloaded my statements and doublechecked to make sure everything is in the right column. As some points, the account balances the credits/charges perfectly with the account following proper math. At other times, it reverses the two and actually says I have more money when I spend it. Any thoughts on how I can get rid of this. It really throws of my Account List page.     - Bulk-assign transactions to categories Hi, I downloaded a bunch of transactions from my bank want to assign them to appropriate categories. Money made a best guess on some of the transactions, but most of them are still unassigned. Is there a way to bulk-assign a bunch of transactions to one category _after_ they were downloaded from the bank ? I know that for transactions that I'll download from this point on Money will assign them to the right categories based on previous history. However right now I have about 200 unassigned transactions, I can't believe I have to go through them one-by-one manually ! I figured out a way to query for all transactions with certain text in the transaction name, but I could not find a way to assign them to a particular category. Can somebody help ? Thanks, V.     - Late-Clearing check downloading from bank as duplicate I have MS Money 2000 Standard Edition Version 8.0. I paid a bill in March and entered it manually -- check number, date, amount and everything. When I download the transaction from the bank, it enters as an additional check with the same number and the date that it cleared the bank. It took over two months for the check to clear. But, shouldn't MS Money recognize the check by check number and NOT include it as a 'new' transaction?? I've tried deleting the manual entry and correcting the date on the downloaded entry.     - Sales Ledger & Bank Charges Hi all, I have Money 2004 SB Edition. My situation is: I issue an invoice to a customer an amount X. The custom pays my internet merchant who takes a percentage A and leaves me with an amount Y. I then receive a cheque from the internet merchant and deposit it in my account. My bank then removes some charges B and gives me the rest amount Z. Sad :) Anyways, What accounts/categories do I need to set up and use in order to have the following: 1.     - Which version? Hi, I have been using an old version (pre Y2K) of Money for years for doing my small business accounts and it has been basic, but great. But I upgraded my pc so I bought Money 2004 (standard). Unfortunately now I have it out of the box I've found that it is no good for my small business, as unlike the old version I have been using, it doesnt calculate sales tax for each transaction/category.     - Restore Backup Problems My hard drive recently crashed. Lucky for me, I always backed up my data to a floppy.     - Budget amounts wrong, Please help!! Here is my delema. In Microsoft Money 2004 I have set up my budget and all was great until I was reviwing my current budget status. Under some of my expenses it shows the budgeted amount as double what (and sometimes triple) what it should be. If I choose one of these items and click edit it shows the box with the choice of editing "a Bill in this category" or "An additional expnese in this category" Under "a Bill in this category" it has a pull down menu and it shows the same item more than once. Only one of the identical choices can be used and it shows the correct information. When I go back to see if my budget is correct it shows only the correct amount. Please someone I would love to fix this problem if possible. The problem here is in the reveiwing current budget status it makes it look like I am under budget and that my budget is much higher than it is. Thanks in advance.
