Suddenly, today when I went to open Money 2004 , which I've been using
successfully for a long time, it's trying to go through a new setup("Setup
Assistant will upgrade your file and ask a few questions to help you get
started". WHY? I'm concerned that something is curupt. So, I aborted & ran
my virus scan(Avast) & Spybot. Nothing turned up bad from those scans. When
I tried again to open Money2004 & went to follow the setup to the next
screen(MONEY FILE CONVERSION) it states that Money 2004 will make a copy of
my original file "C:\WINDOWS\DESKTOP\AVAST!~1.LNK", so your data will not be
lost. The fact that it would choose that file, whatever it is really seems
a mystery besides that fact that it wants to "Convert a copy of your Money
file for use in Money 2004"
Can anyone help, Please.

I tried clicking the go back button rather than continue.........and a
message came up to open money choose a file. For some crazy reason the
computer wanted to open my Money file in the my documents instead of the
"Mymoney file locacated in the Money folder. Why? When I choose "Open" from
the file drop down at the top of the screen.......& clicked on "My money" in
the Money folder it correctly opened Money 2004. Anyone know why this all
happened suddenly?
