I have moved my Money 2000 file from one computer to
another. (I copied it to a storage device and from there
copied it to the other computer.) However, the password
(which works on the original computer) will not open the
file on the new computer. The dialogue box reports an
incorrect password, though I'm using the correct one. Any
ideas on what I need to do differently to get the file
opened? Thanks.

I should mention that both computers are running the SAME
version of Money. So this isn't a "backward
compatibility" problem as discussed in some of the
earlier posts.

Well, be that way.

Try removing the password on the machine that can get into it then moving it
to the other.
