This could point to a 'problem' with one of the accounts in the portfolio
Two things to try
First, try a repair on the file. See
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;182608&Product=mny
alternatively,
Go to the Account list and right-click each account one at a time for the
investment accounts and close them all. See if you can then access the
portfolio. If you can, re-open each investment account until the portfolio
crashes again. If it does crash when you open a specific account, that means
there's something wrong with that account. From there, you can take care of
that account by exporting it and importing it into a new account in Money.
Then you can delete the problematic account. That will usually allow you to
access the portfolio again.
