This is a stretch, but was the loan ever (and I mean ever) part of the Debt
Reduction Planner?
If so, try the following:
1. un-close the loan account.
2. add the account to the DRP (and complete all screens through to the
"Finish")
3. close and restart Money
4. remove the account from the DRP (and complete all screens through to the
"Finish")
5. close the account
6. check the budget editor
Someone from this newsgroup (try searching) had to perform a similar
operation to truly disassociate a loan/credit account from the DRP in order
for it to disappear from the Budget Planner. I want to say that loan/credit
accounts that were DRP-associated and then closed were still "active" in
some fashion...
