    - Problems with Call and Put Calculations I have MS Money 2007 Premium and on occassions money will not calculate the price of the options correctly. It will treat it as a stock price and throw my totals off. I delete the transaction and then delete the stock (options) sysmbol from the list of stocks and close the program. When I reenter the information again the same thing happens. This only occurrs every so offen but it is very annoying. Anyone have any ideas?     - Using classification for a loan payment I have used the classification 'property' and set up properties withing this. I want to assign loan payments to a particular property but Money is not allowing me to do this. It always removes the classification which is not helpful as I do not then get the mortgage payments in with the other property expenses. Is there any way round this? Any help would be appreciated.     - MS Money 2007 Deluxe Won't Stop Adding Copies of an Account I attempted to set up online updates for First National Bank of Omaha (Credit Card) and ran into the "passkey" problem where updates cannot be performed automatically despite this bank appearing on MS Money list of supported institutions. Thanks fine - I understand MS continued to work on the problem. I deleted the account the MS Money tried to set up. However, MS Money appears to continue to try to set up this account - I didn't open Money for a few days and when I did, there where 4 copies of the account (same name appended with #2, #3, #4, #5).     - Customizing Report Formats I was looking at a Money 2006 report and, as usual, I could not see all the columns at once without dragging the header seperators closer to each other. Then, somehow, I got to a place where I was offered a "condensed" header report (or something like that). That "automatically" made each column much smaller so all the data fit on screen at once. Fantastic! The only problem is that I was so busy expoting the report to MS Works Spreadsheet so I could have control over what columns get printed (like I don't need Num..) and the size of the columns, that I can't remember where I found this option/capability. All I know is that it was while I was looking at the on-screen report. Can anyone remind me where this option is? It's not in help or the online manual - I know that for sure. Thanks..     - Money 2007 portfolio problem with showing totals for stocks. I upgraded from MSMoney 2005 to 2007. All appear to have gone well except I can't get my portfolio to show me any totals. It just shows me Symbol, Chart, Name, Last Price and Change. It won't show me Market value, Gain, Purchases or Realized gains. I open up the stock (using plus sign) and see that all of my buy/sell transactions are still there. HELP!     - Overdue Bill ? I have listed on my Money 2005 an "Overdue Bill", yet it is for an entry that's part of a series. The problem is the series is ok but I don't know how to get rid of this 'one' entry which is not needed (25th May). Don't really know how it came to be there. I have tried deleting the whole series but this made no difference. Any ideas how I can get rid of it?     - Repair a Money data file? MS Money or MSN Money? I've posted here before about trouble accessing one bank in my MS Money setup. I'm using MS Money 07 Deluxe on a WinXP Pro SP2 computer. It's now been well over a month since I've been able to download transactions from this bank. Last week, I had an online chat with a MS support rep. Unfortunately, I had to cut the session short, after over an hour, because I had a meeting I had to attend. And with one thing and another, I'd rather not go through the chat again and paying for phone support is a very last option. Anyway, to sum up: I tried accessing the data via the MSN Money site and it, too, was unable to download transactions from the bank. So he had me create a second Windows LiveID and setup my banking info through the new one... and it worked. But it was empty of all of my historical data. And then when I used the new login with MS Money, I got "duplicate account" warnings, and offers to merge the dupes. When the accounts were merged, I again lost the ability to use the online services. So in the meantime, I've deleted the new database and restored from the most then-recent backup, so I am essentially back to square one.     - need registration name and key for reinstall I purchased Money 2007 Premium in August, 2006, via Digital River download and I also ordered a backup CD. Everything worked fine until my computer died. Now I am trying to install Money on a new computer using the same backup CD. But it pops up a window entitled "Key Expired". It appears that I need a "registration name and key", "exactly as given to you". Perhaps I did receive this information before but it would now be lost on my dead computer. Is there a way to retrieve the requisite magic cookies from someone's web site? And what credentials will I need to identify myself and my purchase? Filling the fields of a new invoice there's a serious shortcoming, that is I can enter only a very limited amount of characters in the item description (half the lenght of the form field!), & even in case of 'service' the item description must be registered in a items list (short and generic).     - ms money 2002 I have been using this for some time. Today when I entered my data for transactions and went to exit it supposedly did an auto back up. However, none of the new data was saved, on the back up drive or my HDD.     - Import Transactions from Excel to Money I currently use Money 2005 and I have been trying to figure out how to import my transactions from Excel to Money. I was able to write an Excel macro to convert my data in Excel to QIF. However, I'm having the following issues: 1. When I import a file, Money thinks I'm downloading a bank statement to reconcile my records and it tries to match my imported transactions to transactions already in Money. How do I get it to just import the transactions and treat them the same way as the transactions I enter manually in Money? 2.     - Error Message when starting up I just downloaded Essentials 2007. Every time I launch the software I get an error box that says "To continue operating successfully, Money requires a software update. Click OK to close Money and begin the update now". They give you two options to click OK or Cancel. When I click OK the same error message appears and over and over. If I click cancel the error message goes away.     - How to add new categories I just purchased Money Essentials. I just downloaded my recent transactions from my checking account. I am putting all transactions into the proper category but I am finding that I want to create my own specific categories. I cannot figure out how to do it.     - Manually enter & clear checks I want to use this software like you would Quickbooks - input your checks and deposits one by one, clear them as they clear, and then have a report of where my money is going. (rent, groceries, etc...) The problem is, I don't want to pay my bank $10 or whatever a month to synchronize with MS Money when I can input the information myself.     - Epay processing date I am using Money 2006 Deluxe. I have been using MS Money for over 10 years, so I know my way around pretty well. For the past six months or so, my Epay transactions have been setting the date to the processing date rather than the payment date in my register. I do NOT have the check box checked that says "Enter electronic payments in the register with the processing date".     - Perplexing question - not quite archive not quite starting over... I have been using Money in one form or another from 2000. I now am running 2006. I have a slightly different question from the standard Archive question... I dont want to keep the transactions from prior years. Say every transaction before 1/1/2006 I would like to delete. And then I would like to delete all the empty and ancient accounts that have been canceld or, as in the asset case like a House, sold. I am trying to not loose all the account information. I do not want to have to reenter all the addresses, passwords, and the good transaction data from 2006 forward. I have looked hard to find anything to address this circumstance and cannot. I would deeply appreciate any help w/ this... I am having 'anxiety attacks' that a standard answer of "you cant get there from here" is going to surface! Related is how to actaully remove an account. For example I have a couple of American Express accounts. One of them I closed some time ago. It is ancient history.     - Repair a Money data file? MS Money or MSN Money? I've posted here before about trouble accessing one bank in my MS Money setup. I'm using MS Money 07 Deluxe on a WinXP Pro SP2 computer. It's now been well over a month since I've been able to download transactions from this bank. Last week, I had an online chat with a MS support rep. Unfortunately, I had to cut the session short, after over an hour, because I had a meeting I had to attend. And with one thing and another, I'd rather not go through the chat again and paying for phone support is a very last option. Anyway, to sum up: I tried accessing the data via the MSN Money site and it, too, was unable to download transactions from the bank. So he had me create a second Windows LiveID and setup my banking info through the new one... and it worked. But it was empty of all of my historical data. And then when I used the new login with MS Money, I got "duplicate account" warnings, and offers to merge the dupes. When the accounts were merged, I again lost the ability to use the online services. So in the meantime, I've deleted the new database and restored from the most then-recent backup, so I am essentially back to square one.     - Password Change Hi, I am using Money 2007 Deluxe and want change my password at a financial institution. The change at the bank works fine, but Money keeps reverting to old password. Hee's is how I try to make change. From the account register, I go to "Change account settings" then "Change bank or brokerage passwords" then "Edit user ID or password" I then type, not copy and paste, my new password and "Save Changes" I then try to update online and am told password and or user id, incorrect. When I go back to "Edit user ID or password" my old password is there. I can tell as my old password is 3 *'s shorter. I can go directly to the bank and sign in with my new password, no problem.     - How can I add transaction while using the online version of money Ok... when I first bought Money several years ago and installed it on my home computer, I could then login while at work via the passport and see the information that I had entered on my home computer. If I purchased something during the day I could go online and add the transaction which was great way to know at any given moment what my TRUE balance was in my account. Now when I check my Money account online from work I can see all the information I've entered at home but now there is no way to add a new transaction other then from my home computer where I have Money installed. The only thing that has an edit feature is transactions I've entered at home that have not yet been downloaded from my bank. If any one knows how this can be done please let me know.     - error when trying to restore Money 01 backup after hard drive crash I recently had to replace my hard drive. I installed Money (04 Deluxe) and tried to restore my Money back up that was on an external hard drive. I got this error: "Please insert next backup disk. (The disk containing file "".)" Probably the most useless error message ever since a) i'm pretty sure this is the entire backup and b) it doesn't tell me what file it's talking about. am viewing for all dates. Every transaction in my check register has an
