 - How to buy Money Plus Deluxe in Poland? Hi, I want to buy Microsoft Money Plus Deluxe in Poland.  - Can I view CURRENT Balances rather than ENDING Balances on Home Pa I project my income and expenses in Money 2004 to by entering estimated values for planned income and expenses for the next year or so. Anytime I see a red running balance in the coming months, I know I need to plan to shift some funds to cover it. This works out fine for me, except I would rather see my CURRENT (real) account balance associated with my favorite accounts on the Home Page instead of the ENDING (estimated) account balance that now shows by default.  - Match Invoice to Bank Account,How? I would like to keep track of 1 widget that I sell. (How many sold ,taxes,shipping,etc) I need a report that shows only the widget sales, a report showing the taxes collected and which account/store sold it. 1. I sell one item, a widget for $19.95+tax, either through PayPal(PayPal Account),put them in stores or I sell them at a trade show(both deposits in bank). Each sale shows up in my accounts when I download the bank data. I would like to create reports that show the correct data from only these widget sales. If I create an invoice for each widget I sell, Money adds another $19.95+tax to the account. Is it possible to create a report with only the widget sales or to associate a sales invoice with a deposit/entry in an account? When I create an invoice and mark it as paid it removes it from the sales tax report, if I don't mark it as paid it dosen't show in the income statement. What can I do to make this work? 2. I am also putting my widget into stores that are either on consignment or are letting me display and sell them without taking a percentage. If I put a display holding ten widgets and they sell 9 and want 10 more, I create an invoice for 20 widgets and enter 9 are paid for, but I cannot seperate what is sold from the total inventory placed in the store, for report and tax purposes.  - Institutionalized Funds 401(k) My company uses The Hartford for it's 401(k) program. I have recently been working to get my 401(k) into Microsoft Money so I can track it more closely. I have requested symbols for the funds that I am invested in and they told me there are no symbols because the are "institutionalized funds" and the only way I can find out their current price is by going onto The Hartford's website and downloading the excel spreadsheet they have posted there.  - Cannot delete "OLD" investments When I attempt to 'rename' an investment, I often get a message saying there is another investment with the modified name. These phantom investments do not exist in any account, regular or watch, open or closed. Usually they do not have a ticker symbol -- just the name. Perhaps they were used in a watch account a long time ago. And before you point out the obvious, I have already looked for them in the "Delete an Investment from all Accounts", and they are not there either, regular or dim. They only time I can see them is if I try to "Add a New Investment". I almost never use this program, since my new investments are downloaded daily by my broker. These phantoms exist somewhere.  - problem with cash balance of investment account. Hi I'm using Money 2006 Deluxe. I update online regularly. I have an investment/stock account that is having issues. When I look at it in the Account Summary it shows an incorrect cash balance. The investment balance is pretty close to the actual...just off because of some minor differences in stock quotes. But, the cash balance is way off. Also when I compare the Total Account Value from the Account Summary page to the total shown on the Account List, it's way off. I have had to reinstall my OS, and thus re-install Money 99, but since it can't download the updates that were previously installed, it can't open my old files. When I sell them, they show up on my bank statements but how do I keep track of them as Sales and also apply the Sales tax so that they automatically register on my reports as Income and Tax categories?  - Corrupt File, can't print checks I've lost the ability to print checks from my primary bank account. I've tried to repair my money file with Microsoft's program, but it didn't help.  - Frustrated Beyond Measure - Cannot Update and Cannot Use Portfolio I loved Money 2005, recommended it to friends and got 2 great years of use out of it. Then, it forced me to upgrade to continue online services. I didn't mind since it was only $40 and I got two good years out of it. However, Money Plus Deluxe has been a nuisance. I have never gotten portfolio manager to work. I spent 2 weeks sending emails with support where the guy eventually said "if this doesn't work, I can't help you." Great... shoudl I go buy Quicken? This weekend, I decided to try to completely uninstall Money and try a reinstall to get Portfolio Manager to work. Now, I can't run Money at all. Every time I load, it hangs for a few minutes and eventually tells me I need to update. The update appears to start, but then the window shuts and nothing else happens. If I try to re-run Money, it tells me I have an update in process. If I let it run all night (I did), nothing changes. If I reboot and try Money again, I get the same message. So, trying to fix Portfolio Manager (I had already tried all the reinstall Toolbox stuff), I have managed to hose Money.  - Adjust balance is correct...but money say's its not? On the Account List page, I see a summary of my account... all are fine except one... my checking account. Money has a "Last Updated" date of 1/5/2004??? Presently NONE of my banks or accounts are internet accessible. Where it got this date from is beyond me? How can it think it connected to my bank when it never happened? More so, it lists an incorrect "Bank Balance"... its $47 higher than the actual "Adj. Balance" (which is correct). Why does money believe it has an incorrect balance? I've always reconciled and balanced by hand. All my accounts are correct to the penny - yet money thinks I'm out by $47 from back in 2004? Is there a way to manual update the balance so it knows they are all correct? or can I somehow change erase this $47 "recommendation"??? I tired letting it adjust my balance...but then it was out by $47... so I had to find that transaction back in 2004 and delete it from the register. Any insight is welcome. Thanks. T.  - Money 2006 - Balance Problems I am running Money 2006 - Canadian Edition. It read my old files from Money 2002 with no problems. I am trying to balance my credit card account. When I enter my new balance owing in the balance this account window, I get a figure that has no relation to what I have entered. In this case, I own $550.00 and my previous balance is $35.00. The total should be $585. Instead, it gives me a figure of $2500.00. I have no idea where that comes from. Worse, when I check off my debts, its final figure does not agree with my EXEL results, to say nothing of my own addition and subtraction. I have run the repair tool and it reports back that nothing was found out of order. I have run the simple repair and the level 2 repair. My only recourse appears to be to check off all of my debts (and payments) in the usual way, and then to enter the left over sum as a balance. I have a second Money file (on an laptop) with some of this material on it and it balances the account with no problems. What is causing this problem and what can I do to eliminate it?  - Money 2007 file wont update from one computer to another Ok, I have a desktop with Vista and laptop with XP home. I use the notebook when Im away at work and the Vista desktop when Im home. When I got home I wanted my money file from the notebook to be transfered to the desktop but... when I copy the file from the notebook to my external USB HD and then paste it to the desktop to replace the existing one the file does not reflect changes made on the file version on the notebook. When I copy the file from the notebook to the USB HD and then open it it shows one balance. but when I then paste that file to the desktop it shows a different balance that is not up to date. I am flabbergassted. So it seems that the file is specific to whatever machine it is opened on. What the hell? Does anyone know why? The only thing I can think of is that the money file is listed as an application like a program file. Ideas anyone? Thanks in advance to any help given. I have Money 2007.  - Can't get Chase Investments prices on the weekend I have several Chase accounts defined to Money Plus Deluxe, including some investment accounts. I also have a Fidelity IRA and a Vanguard 401(k) defined. For some reason, when I update prices on the weekend for these accounts, there is one Chase investment account that does not get ANY price, which leaves the investment with a zero balance.  - Why different pay days in Bill summary? Two of my scheduled electronic payments are due on the same day. When I go into my Calender view, they both are listed on the same day as expected. However, when I view them in Bills summary, there is a note for each in red lettering, one says "This electronic payment must be sent within 2 days.". I have money 2005 backup file (.mbf) and my original file has gotten corrupted somehow and can't repair it (computer hung and had to be restarted). Whenever I try to restor the backup file, I get the following message, Window Title: Money Multiple Disk Backup Message: Please insert the next backup disk. (The disk containing file "".) I was backing up on a different connected single harddrive and there is only one file. The file is not in multiple pieces and on different drives.  - Did Money 2008 fix any of these issues? I was looking to upgrade my 2007 Home&Biz to 2008 Home&Biz for only tthree reasons: 1. CPU performance Issues with Background banking. 2. Money hanging when reconciling electronic transactions downloaded from my Bank with those which were setup as recurring loan transactions (Such as a Mortgage or Auto payment). This requires TaskManager->End Task and Microsoft's recommendation was the Nuke the bills and re-enter. That works for about a month or so... 3. (Business) Time Tracking screen refresh delays. Also, can someone enlighten me on what is 'Enhanced Background Banking?" So far from what I can tell it looks like none of these are resolved. I do have the last 8 years of data in Money, but I think for the next fiscal year it's time to switch to a product that a company actually puts effort into maintaining... start. When I click it again I get a message box saying Money is already
running.
Subsequently I must go to task manager and shut it down and start it again.
Anyone else having this problem?
