Money 2000 Problems

I am just wondering if anyone has experienced the
following problems:

- I was experiencing a couple of issues with Money 2000
running on XP after using it for about 12 months. I
decided to backup my Money file and then remove and reload
the program from my computer. Everything was going well
until I tried to restore the backup. Money is about to
restore the back up and then asks for a password. I enter
the password which I have been using to enter Money in the
past and it does not recognise the password.

Can anyone help?

I have tried all the caps lock, etc, but it just does not
work. Any Suggestions?

You and I just posted identical questions!
I have a Money 2001 Standard Version .mbf backup file
which I am trying to restore to a reloaded Money program.
I can't remember the password. Three computer experts are
working on this at my place of work for me now - gratis.
If I get an answer I will forward to you.
Will you please do likewise?

Sorry,

but my version is 2002, however I have not forgotton the
password, the reloaded version just does not recognise it
and asks for a different password.!
