    - Money 2007 Premium deleted transactions Okay, just installed it, and actually got the thing to download transactions from my credit union.. funny thing is it only went back 1 month, would be nice to know how to get it to download everything.there is to get. So I decided I would manually enter transactions to cover back to the beginning of the last month, then I could just do the archive download of previous months and I'd be set. So I entered about 25 transactions and it put them in the Adjustments Section. Right at the top it said, once it was cleared, click the check-off box and click Delete Cleared Adjustments to remove it from the list. Did that and it just deleted them. It didn't add them to the Cleared Transactions List. It just deleted them. Hmm. So how the heck do I get it to work right and just add them to the Cleared Transactions. Really worrisome that it would just delete them all with no warning message or anything. I have looked and can't find them anywhere I might have missed, they're just gone. Anyone run into this?     - Merging Accounts Twice Can the geniuses at Microsoft explain to me how I can set up a single account for online services with my bank AND MSN BillPay? Although the account merging requirement is the one of he most moronic pieces of crap the idiots as Microsoft have dumped out in a while, in theory I can merge a newly created online account with an existing non-online account and have been able to do so mostly by giving it my right arm. But when I also want to use billpay with this account, billpay creates yet another online account - and now my original acocunt is also an online account - so I cannot merge billpay with this.     - Account Registry Multi-Select Is there a way to select multiple lines in the account registry? I frequently have items marked as "cleared" but like to uncheck them all before I do a reconcile on the account because I don't want money to auto-reconcile all the items I've marked as cleared.     - Two Questions Regarding Bills - Using Money Plus Deluxe 2008 In Money 2006, if you have a recurring deposit every two weeks set in the "Bills Summary" it would show both occurrences for the month. I have currently have Bill Settings set to 45 days and I can still only displays one occurrence of the deposit at a time. How can I fix this to properly show both deposits? Secondly, is there any way to print the "View bills and deposits on the calendar" view? I would like a hard copy of each month's calendar of bills and deposits. Thanks for any help!!     - Severe problems with Money Plus Deluxe I was succesfully running the Money Plus Deluxe Win32 (on a Windows Vista OS) and suddenly I'm unable to run it again.     - Money Report Problem I am using Money Plus H&B and I am having trouble with a few of my reports. The report seems to be fine if I calculate my Profit and loss for the year to date but if I change the date to include the entire year or even a month later than today I have a problem. Sometimes I get a message that Money has encountered a problem and I check Okay other times Money just exits on its own. I seem to be able to run the same report for 1/1/07 to until about 11/20/07 without errors. This same situation occurs with 2 different reports which are for 2 totally different businesses. I even get the error message when I run it run the report menu rather than from saved favorites. I have done the repairs and also uninstalled Money and reinstalled. At present I have it as Transfer: Chevy, but on the Chevy account setttings I have to indicate purchase price as $16,000 (not the $18,000 it cost).     - Bugs in MS Money Plus (premium)? Hello, I just (regrettably for the second time) upgraded MS Money, from MS Money 2007 to the current version. Though I cannot tell what the difference is (no visible difference in features), I thought perhaps this version would be at least 'less buggy'. However, from the start (login) I have seen numerous bugs. Does anyone have a list of known issues? Three that I encountered immediately: 1) logging in, I get an error message that my password is incorrect (even though it is), and upon second try it lets me in. 2) when clicking on the 'budget' icon in the toolbar, I get the budget report rather than budget 3) when trying to share my file (sharing settings), it just hangs with those little arrows spinning, no response.     - Problem online updating my bank accounts in MS Money 2007 My MS Money 2005's online service was expired recently. At the same time I got a new computer, so I installed MS Money 2007(Not Plus) in it. I was able to restore my Money 05(backup file) data to Money 07 without any problem. The problem now is all my banks/credit cards/investments don't update in this new version. I checked all my account status in the "network status" page and all of them return an error of "0", which mean everything is normal. If I log into Moneycentral, I was able to update those account individually with no problem. Is it b/c the online service still think I am using Money 05(from the backup file)?     - Upgrading from Microsoft Money 2004 to MicrosoftMoney Plus Premium I have been using Microsoft Money 2004 for the past 2 years. I have just purchased Microsoft Money Plus Premium(2008). As per the details in the Microsoft Website the upgradation would take place automatically on installation. But when I installed Money Plus the upgradation did not take place.     - No $ amounts, only #### I have got a serious problem with Money 2007. There are so many places that just has #### instead of the actual $ in the Amount column using Reports. For example. Reports, Income & Spending. All the $ Amounts are there when the report opens. There is an Income-Unassigned $300.00. If I double-click that to see what it is, in the View Transactions: Income window it lists all my paychecks with $0.00 for the amount. There is one that has #### for the amount. If I double-click the one with ####, it has $300.00 in the Edit Transaction Window. While I am typing this, I just clicked the Income -Unassigned $300.00 again, and the View Transactions: Income, and now *all* the entries show #### for the amount, not even the $0.00 is there any more. When I click Create A Report, all the money amounts show. In the Income & Spending Report, when I click the Investment Income , the View Transactions: Investment Income window opens, some amounts were $0.00, the rest were ####. After I closed it and just now tried that one again, ALL of the amounts are ####. When I click Create a Report in the View Transactions: Investment Income window, all the money amounts show in this Report. This occurs with every item in the Income & Spending report. Another example, In Assets and Liabilities, Account balances with details. When that report opens, if I double click any item listed under Account or Bank Name, all the Amount has is ####. Then if I click Create a Report from there, all the money amounts show. There are other places this happens too but donâ??t recall off the top of my head right now. The amount column has four # signs, (####) instead of the actual money amounts. Oh I remember, it is in Monthly Reports. In the first section Income v. Expenses. When I double-click the figure in Total Expenses, for either of the two months, prior month or current month, those amounts are ####. I have to double-click *each* individual entry in the Edit Transaction window to see the amount. In the Edit Transaction window, if I Create A Report, the $ amounts show correctly. Any item in the Monthly Reports that can be double-clicked, all have #### instead of the actual $ amount. What is wrong with this thing? A few months ago I tried a Quick File Repair, but it did not fix this. I just tried Quick File Repair again, and it did not fix it. Please, can someone help me with this? Its been doing this ever since I upgraded from Money2004. I *Never* had problems with that version. I hope I was clear enough to describe this problem. Thank you.     - How to get Bills and Budget to synch? I have Money '07 and I'm using it to try to set up a budget. Problem is, it's a little cumbersome to have to go in and retype each category and amount for things such as rent, gas, cell phone charges, etc. when all of that information is currently in the Bills section. Is there a way to get the budget to grab all of those non-variable values and use them so the only thing I have to manually budget is what's left over? Also, it doesn't seem like the cash flow forecaster (not sure if that's what it's called) is considering my budget items - only the items under "Bills".     - Auto update of accounts I am running MS Money Plus Deluxe and my bank accounts do not updat according to the update schedule I have set. The only way they update is by me selecting "update now". I have the "Customize update schedule" set up as follows: Under "Automated Online Updates" the "Use Automated Updates" checkbox is selected Under "Set an update frequency for your account" I have my bank set to update every 24 hours, but it never updates automatically.     - ATM Inquiry Transactions I'm using the current version of Money Plus. When downloading electronic transactions from my bank, I receive a lot of ATM Inquiry transactions that are $0.     - Dates changing in MPP? When I enter my receipts I obviously use the transaction date for the date of the sale. However, I just noticed that a lot of my dates have changed by a few days when I compared against the Visa statement. Is there an issue where MPP changes the date?     - Money Plus - Transaction cannot be entered I recently converted from Money 2005 to Money Plus (2008). The conversion went fine and everything was working as expected, for a while. All of a sudden I started to get the dreaded "This transaction cannot be entered" message. I did a Level 2 repair, but I still get the messages every so often. The weird part I discovered is that if I just click "Okay" and then hit "Enter", the transaction goes into the register. I don't have to re-type anything, I don't have to start a new transaction, I don't have to do any kind of repair. Any thoughts as to what is going on? Suggestions for what I should try?     - Download Transactions from Scottrade I just started using Scottrade and I am having problems with downloading transactions. It seems that the position downloads fine but the actual transaction will not download. For example if I buy 100 share of abc whenI do an update, no transactions will download but it shows "1 position" in the review column and when I look at the positions it will show all of the stock in the account including ABC but it will then say the money file shows 0 shares and Scott shows 100 shares do you want to update your account. If I say yes it add the share (does not include commission or a cost basis). Anyone else using Scottrade? I would appreciate it if you would let me know if everything is working fine with downloads or you are having problems. I have done repairs and deleted my temp files already.     - charging interest on AR accounts I'm working in Money 2006 Small Business for a small used car lot -- we carry the loans for the cars we sell. I need to find a way to set everthing up so that when a customer purchases a car, Money will figure the loan, charge the interest, track the payments, remind when a payment is over-due, etc. I tried to do so under "Business", set up Accounts Receivable and created in invoice for a customer.     - Money Plus: Updates transactions over and over again I've recently upgraded to Money Plus. Some transactions update each time an update is preformed. Transactions from a month ago update every day and need to be matched up with previous entry each time. Also, there is some transactions that do not have the correct dollar amount. For example, one transactions was for lunch. My bank statement shows the correct Dollar amount but the amount downloaded each time is only for the meal and does not include the amount of the tip (used my debit card to pay for). This transaction is nearly a month old and it downloads everyday with the incorrect amount. There are others that the amount updated each day is for only $1.00 even thou the amount is more.     - Bill not showing in summary In Money 2006, a monthly bill wasn't showing in the Bill Summary when I knew it was the date. I was surprised, but I entered it as a new monthly bill. Then on the home page, the payee showed twice. After I paid it on the bill that was showing, the original bill shows on the home page as overdue but doesn't show on the summary. Any help? Thanks.     - Money Plus does not download new transactions I've been having this problem in which I click to update transactions and Money Plus does so, giving no error, updates the balance correcly, says "Transactions to be read: nn" stating the correct number of new transactions since last synchronization (as checked from the bank web statement), but the new transactions do no show in the account registry. You can click on the message "Transactions to be read: nn" or go to the account list and all you see is the old transactions, with an updated balance. The same transactions appear cleared at the bank website. This happens with both my checking account at Wachovia and my credit cards at other institutions... Only the first synchronization upon installation seems to work, all subsequent fail to show the new transactions. I even went onto the bank website and downloaded the .OFX file, opened with notepad and I can see the new transactions in there, but if I import it, it says 'import successful' and 'new transactions to review' but the transactions do not appear. Same behavior as in automatic synchronization. This is the reason I did not purchase Money 2006 when I evaluated it last year. When you download transactions from your financial institution do you have to edit it them? The check numbers don't come over right and neither does the payee. 2. should upgrade. Problem is whenever I start it, it says I need an update. I
download and install the update, yet the next time I start Money it says I
need an update....

In Vista, right-click the Money icon and choose RunAsAdministrator
to let updates happen. Then reboot the computer.
