Seems MS hasn't worked out the bugs on activation. I made "significant"
changes to my computer and now cannot activate money. 3 days with Digital
River folks with no luck. You need to provide them with Hardware Key - done.
You need to provide them with serial number (original "key") - done. The
Cutomer Support Override system requires a "Name" and "Key" - I have received
two keys but no mention of what name to use. Phone support said use name on
original order - done. Doesn't work. I'm patient in that I have another 50+
days to go, but if they don't work this out soon, I will change software.
Quicken is just as good according to reviews...

If others have had succes using the manual activation "override" I certainly
would be interested in knowing. Thanks!

By all means open a Support Case with Microsoft if you can't get there soon.
They may or may not be able to help but they "need to feel the pain" of a
support call since this is SUPPOSED to be a solvable problem.

Unless I was just ready to punt the data, buying another Money license--I
agree you shouldn't have to do this--sure seems like a better solution than
jumping to Quicken and leaving the data behind in Money. Of course I have
almost fifteen years worth of data that is worth a ***lot*** more than the
cost of a Money license to me. YMMV.
