I have set up a simple account to track the payments we've made on a
personal loan to a friend. I entered an electronic payment (via MSN
BillPay) and sent it off to the person. However, Money Plus (2008) did not
record that as a transfer from our checking account and tracking this into
the simple loan account that I've made up.

First question, in the future, how to I make it do that?

Second question, how do I enter the amount that I've paid, via BillPay, into
the loan account, without it trying to make another transfer out of our
checking account, like it wants to do?

Are you using Deluxe or Essentials Edition? If Deluxe, are you using
Essential or Advanced Registers and Bills?
