This is a peer to peer newsgroup so demanding statements from Microsoft
won't get you very far - they aren't here!
AFAIK M2002 doesn't have a deliberate cut-off. The only occasion anything
like this has happened was that in fixing a problem with a later version
caused M98 (I think) to stop downloading and as M98 was well outside it's
maintenance window MS didn't fix it.
