Money Deluxe 2006 hangs after successful install

I am unable to start Money 2006 Deluxe after installing. I had no
trouble installing the software. However, when I try to start it,
entire computer hangs. Nothing works. I have to do a hard reset.

One thing I noticed is that when the computer hangs, I am still able to
move the mouse and can turn the Num Lock on and off. Nothing else works
on the keyboard. There are no error messages in the event viewer.

I was on the phone with Microsoft support for 2 hours and even they
could not figure it out.

Any ideas ????

what type of computer, what operating system, how much memory. If MS
Tech support can not answer it then I doubt we can, but will need some
information. It sounds like you might have a hardware problem. I would :
1) verify that you are well above the minimum requirements
2) run your computer diagnostics

Were you upgrading or installing new? if upgrade what did you upgrade from.
