I have been using MS Money 2005 Trial for 3 months. Now I purchased MSM 2005
Deluxe. I uninstalled the trial, installed Deluxe, launched it - worked okay
(except it wasn't showing Deluxe in About box for some reason).

Then I opened my old .mny file created in Trial version, closed/reopened MS
Money, it said "your trial had expired" and closed itself. I tried to
uninstall/reinstall a couple of times, tried to sign in/out with Passport,
called tech support - no luck.
Now it becomes Trial even without the old file - just close/reopen it a
couple of times and it's trial time again.

Please help!

Do something similar to, but not the same as
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;889930

In the resolution, create a NEW empty file (named perhaps Temp.mny)
that you put the referenced Passport onto. Restart the computer.

Confirm that Money shows the right version. Then click on your
real Money file that is shown on the bottom of the File menu.
