I need to credit a customer with a non-cash credit. For example, take
off $20 because delivery was a day late. I want to show the full
amount of the product on the invoice and an explicit transaction
showing the credit applied. So far,

Money D&B seems to insist on applying a credit only through my
checking account...i.e,, I can't apply it just by crediting the
Accounts Receivable.

Any ideas on a workaround?

Thx,
W.

Wayne,

You've hit the nail exactly on the head. Money D&B 2003
does not allow Credit Memos or Discounts; however Money
2004 SBE finally allows item discounts on the face of the
Invoice. You could use this to deliver a "corrected"
invoice to the customer. Money SBE still does not allow
Credit Memos.

Take care,
DAE
