I've read through the old thread and tried all the remedies. I've
also search the help sites and tried those remedies including adding
money as an exception to my firewall. We have two computers. The
original computer that has 2005 installed will not allow the
verification. So I installed the trial version of 2007 on the second
computer. At first it gave me the same bs about not being able to
verify. So I did the reg32 thingy.. it updated and it money now works
fine on the second computer. The problem is I NEED it to work on the
original computer. Does anyone have any idea why this will work on one
computer but not the other? I've verified that the passport id and
password log in and internet connection is valid on this computer. I
know that these work fine. We've changed the password ect. It just
will not allow us to verify. Can anyone please help?

I can't say that this will address your direct need, but I was having a
similar problem for a while. It turned out that I prompt for 3rd party
cookies and inadvertantly blocked msn.com from being able to write a cookie
to my system. Once I went to IE and change Internet Options/Privacy/Sites and
removed MSN.COM, all was good. Hope this helps.
