Money 2007

Any news about when Money 2007 will be released, or any idea what will be
offered which is an improvement? I'm using '03 and it works fine but if
there are some nice features I would upgrade for a reasonable price.

It's commonly released annually around August.

Reasonable prices can be had without rebate at discount stores like Sam's,
or with (and sometimes without) rebate at office stores.

You might want to browse around here for comments on recent releases.
Unless you like MSN online stuff, the consensus seems to be that each
year it gets a little worse.
I have M2001, M2004 and M2006 and would agree.
I use it for entering/downloading checking/investments accounts only.
I don't use MSN online /passport etc.
I like M2001 and M2004 "look and feel" much better than M2006, but just
browse thru the topics already here and you'll get a lot of input.

A date has been reported as quoted on Amazon. Can't recall what it was;
search Amazon or read more threads. Improvement v. M03? After M05/6, it's
hard to imagine.

I upgraded from 1998 to 2006 (with a conversion waypoint at 2003 trial
version). I now know I'd be much happier just upgrading to 2003 or 2004.
Now my database is converted to 2006 and there's no going back :/

You don't have a backup of the 2003 trial .mny file ?
Look in the 2006 folder - I'm told it saves a copy of your old file with
a ??? extension ( Cal ?)

Not sure about 2007, but I just picked up 2006 Deluxe about a week ago for 19
bucks at Walmart. Not bad at all. I had to get use to the new look of 2006
because I used 2001 previously. I'd say pick up a copy, it's great so far in
my opinion.

Not sure about ver 2007, but I was using 2001 and just picked up a copy of
2006 Deluxe for 19 bucks at Walmart. Not bad at all. I was so used to the
look and feel of 2001, so it took some getting use to at first. So far I
think it's great.
